Autumn Pioneer Festival
Boone County Conservation District
603 Appleton Road
Belvidere, IL

September 24 through 26th, 2010

We have been invited to return this year to participate in their three day event (school day on Friday, Saturday 9am –5pm, Sunday 10am – 4pm). They have granted us a good size camp site, straw, water and firewood. We will be able to drill at will and skirmish in designated areas.

Come on out and enjoy the changing colors of fall during the 1800's. This weekend is full of fun with re-enactmentors from differant eras, a visit from "General U. S. Grant", a "Native American Village" and a "Scottish encampment". Along with all that, there will be Period style food and craft wares for sale. The Cabins depicting the area's differant settler's nationalities will be opened and interpreted.

We have asked other local Napoleonic units and individuals to attend. Please contact:

Dave St. Germain at (815) 544-9315, if you plan to attend as a member of Brigade Napoleon; or call
Bev at the Boone County Conservation District office (815) 547-7935.
